Entrada Piano Academy’s Spring Recital at the Springville Museum of Art was such a success!! We are so grateful to have such an awesome venue available to enjoy such a fun night together. I am always impressed by the students’ composure under pressure, as well as their great sound. All of their songs were so enjoyable to listen to, and I love seeing this snapshot in time of the growth they have made since our last recital - in pianistic ability as well as height! Last year none of my students were taller than me...now there are several!
Entrada students work so hard and deserve this time to shine! A recital is a great opportunity for them to hear each other at their best, to experience the joy of sharing their talent, and to practice performance under pressure. Parents and family and friends get inspired and take such pride to see their loved one perform so well to such a large audience. It is a great way to give students a deadline to have their pieces performance-ready. A recital also gives me the opportunity to publicly recognize and award students for their accomplishments - something that just wouldn’t feel as official without that public ritual.
Cheers to another great school year in the books! Let’s celebrate with some of the photos from the evening!
